Travis, founder and student-of-construction, lives and works on-site.  

Jim, Travis' Dad, was the first resident at Birch Point.  He established, and was sole operator, of the logging camp and recently led construction of the Cabin.  His stories about nights alone in the tent are legendary, and he has been the point of first contact for wildlife and locals for sometime.
