We had some visitors this past weekend; two humans from Beaver Court and two beavers (though I don't think they came from Human Court).  John's folks spent his birthday weekend up and we watched the sun go down over the lake on Thursday.  Just as dusk had turned the sky from gold to gray, we heard the splashing of a water mammal and went to the dock in time to catch two beavers swimming off shore.  Haven't seen them in awhile and it was a welcome treat.
